Thanks to a Google Alert, I noticed that a couple of my older videos on Revver are now "FREE, thanks to Zango." (As if they weren't before?!) (Read more about Zango if you're not familiar with it and 180solutions.)
As with other content, you have to download and install their (adware) software in order to view the video. That's not something I want to bother with, especially given the spyware reputation associated with the company. However, I am pretty curious about whether the Revver ad is still presented when the video is played through Zango, as well as what other advertising might be presented as part of the viewer's experience.
Does anybody have direct experience watching Revverized videos through Zango? If you have their software and want to give it a try, this link will take you to one example.

I got a Google Alert for one of my videos on Zango too. I just gotta say wow. I really feel sorry for anyone who falls for this. That's a lot of hoops and junk to go through just to watch videos that are freely available elsewhere.
I guess that's nice of them to tell you about everything up front, but I think it's kinda deceptive to make it sound like Zango was the one who made the video free because of their popups and user tracking:
